Max Nitke

Project Analyst

As project analyst, Max has lent a hand to RDC holdings on 3 continents. Primarily focused on Pop-Up Metro/TDI, he has focused on foreign railcar integration with FRA standards, GIS modeling, feasibility studies, and grant writing. Max has helped to secure over $900k of public grant funds since he started at RDC in 2023.

In addition to PUM/TDI, Max also works on system integration at the Iowa Interstate Railroad under the guidance of Chief Safety and Sustainability Officer Greg Wilson. In this role, Max works to implement RailPulse in customer and railroad facing platforms as well as creating smart data habits in a railroad context. He also provides ad hoc project responsibilities for FCCA in Peru.

Before RDC, Max worked for Pop-Up Metro as the Assistant Project Manager as well as two AgTech startups in business development roles. He holds a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University in Business Administration with minors in Design and Ethics, History, & Public Policy. He also serves on APTA’s Battery-Electric and Hydrogen Passenger Rail Committee.
